News: Judie, Casey, John

John Kalmer was dropped off by Casey and Meg Willson on the way from their home in Maryland to Lynchburg VA  at Judie Guidice Baldini's house  on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008. Judie put up with him for several days.  (He really was not trouble and we had a great time!) He actually spent a great deal of time with Judie's husband, David, making an anatomically correct reindeer from logs and branches in the backyard! The final product is not for the uptight!! Casey and Meg came back on Friday and all talked and laughed over an Italian dinner. We even had a phone conversation with Jeanine O'Shea during dinner(well, Jeanine did most of the talking but what a delight to talk to her!)  John made a quick dessert of fried bananas and secret ingredients over ice cream...soooo yummy. If you are lucky, he might give you the recipe if you email him! After a long night of great conversation and reminiscing, bedtime was calling.  Saturday aftern! oon John, Casey and Meg got back on the road to head north as Meg had to catch a plane to Africa, and John headed home to Newark. A wonderful time had by all.
